Synthesis of the case study
The Aqua Soccer and Dymaxion Gold were temporary installations for the 2013 Hamburg International Garden Show in Germany. They offer an unforeseen twist to the otherwise traditional football by reconstructing the structure of the field and partially submerging it under water. The intention of Aqua Soccer is to be a tool for engaging users in unforeseen interactive experiences. The Dymaxion World Map presents a cartographic projection of the globe separated into polyhedrons, which can be unfolded into a two-dimensional map. The Unfolded Dymaxion World has been transformed to a mini golf playfield, where continents and countries are successively played and conquered.
