Synthesis of the case study

Greening the City is an 'urban intervention' in the framework of Design as Activator's project in 2014, organized by POR (Platform Openbare Ruimte) and Carolien Ligtenberg. Dutch firm NL architects turned an expansive parking lot for the Harbor Club into a 9-hole mini-golf course with a budget of 2,500 Euros. The inexpensive course was created with sod “grass carpet.” Its playful design is meant to provide a fun break for the visitors of the club, giving them a chance to do something with their kids.
