Synthesis of the case study

Saint Ouen Park is a large 100 hectare area located at the edge of the green neighborhood of the Docks of the historical centre of St Ouen at the gates of Paris. The park represents the transformation of an almost mono functional, industrial territory into a newly developed, fully integrated area. The park includes diverse structures and services such as an educational greenhouse, a large skate park and three playgrounds, providing an environment where people of various backgrouds and social status meet and interact. The park has many outdoor spaces and equipment such as air sliders for rollerblading or skateboard, amphitheathers for concerts and playgrounds for kids.
