Synthesis of the case study

Tychy promenade was created with the aim of bringing life back to the previously demoralised lake side. The promenade uses a lot of wood to create a connection with the nature and is not only used for walking and meetings, but it has grown into a holistic recreational area. There is a cycling path, cafes, a beach, a unique water playground and an “Aquater” for children, a modern outdoor gym, opportunities for ice skating in the winter and many water sport facilities. The Aquater water playground is special as it doubles as a children playground during the day and a fountain light show in the evening.
