Description

From the first pilot of in 2013, Birmingham's Active Parks has expanded and now provides various free outdoor activities in more than 60 parks and open spaces, which encourages the whole community to enjoy their outdoor space and get active whilst meeting new people. The Birmingham Wellbeing service has many partners who have worked together to establish a great working relationship, such as BOSF (Birmingham Open Spaces Forum), Friends of Parks Groups, Parklives, Sport England, StreetGames and the Birmingham City Council Park rangers. They also work closely with community groups, church groups, youth centres, care homes, nurseries to reach the local population.
