MOVEMENTSPACES Collection Of Good Practices

How can we illustrate the idea of MOVEment Spaces? By presenting the best examples of initiatives that have reimagined urban spaces as active spaces. And by redesigning or opening up these spaces for physical activity, they enable local citizens to live a healthier lifestyle.

We have gathered 43 examples from more than 20 countries that demonstrate ways of enabling active lifestyles through innovative urban design and city planning. We hope it will be a source of inspiration for civil society organisations and municipalities across the globe.

You can search through the good examples by the type of example, topic and year. Each example includes a summary of the action, its approach, objectives, the target group, key learning points and the contact details for the organisation behind for the initiative. You can download and print all the PDFs and share them online.

If you are really inspired by a good example, you can contact us or the lead of the initiative directly. This platform is also interactive and you can contribute your own good example by sending it to us (info@isca-web.org) with the subject MOVEment Spaces good example. We will review the examples regularly and keep building the collection with your help.
